degree in Music Education and piano
major; a Master of Arts from Western
Michigan University with emphasis in
teaching in the community college and
pipe organ performance.

Kathy has taught music in the Sturgis and Burr Oak Public Schools, at Glen Oaks Community College, and was director of music at a former retail music company, the Keyboard Center in Sturgis, MI. Since fall 2002, Kathy has served as adjunct music instructor at Kellogg Community College in the areas of piano and accompanist for the Branch County Community Chorus, Studio class as well and being staff accompanist for faculty recitals and concerts. Kathy has served as organist/ accompanist for the Sturgis First United Methodist Church in Sturgis, MI.
Kathy resides in Coldwater and has two grown children and three granddaughters. Kathy often performs with the Phoenix Big Band, weddings and private parties.
